Statement of Purpose
To provide educational opportunities for students which allow them to
function independently and confidently in society, to accept the
responsibility and consequences of their actions and uphold and exhibit
the values and morals of our society.

1. To improve student Maths outcomes.
2.To provide programs which cater for students identified as requiring
extension.
3. To develop environmental education programs at WWPS.

To improve the literacy and numeracy skills of our students.
To encourage students to be active participants in the opportunities
provided for their education, to develop a love for learning and to
realise their full potential.
To engender in students a positive
attitude to the value of education.
Develop independence, self esteem, motivation and self discipline in all
students, which allow and encourages them to strive for excellence while
achieving personal goals in a curriculum environment attuned to their
needs.

Implement an effective staff
welfare model that provides support and professional development.
Ensure best practice is implemented in both the classroom and in school
leadership and management.
Educational Leadership and
Management
To maintain a positive image of
the school within the community.
Implement school organisation structures and procedures that allow
effective and equitable program delivery and resource allocation.
Establish a relationship conducive to
open communication between parents and the school and establish
mechanisms to ensure parents and community members are well informed on
all school matters, as well as actively involving students, staff and
parents in school decisions leading to an enhanced relationship between
the school and the community it serves.
Quality Learning Environments
Cater for all students’
individual and special needs, and assist their participation in the
educative process.
Expand the use of technology in the
classroom and in administration to enhance the delivery of programs and
achieve quality outcomes.
To establish programs which encourage students’ pride in themselves,
their culture and heritage, which allow for significant contribution to
the school and community, and which promote civic responsibility and
community values.
Implement a student welfare policy,
which provides a safe, stimulating, supportive and aesthetically
pleasing school and classroom environment in which students and the
community take an active role and assist in its continued improvement.
